SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL (SSC)

The Gavilan View Middle School Site Council (SSC) is a forum for teachers, administrators, students and parents and community members.  As a forum, the School Site Council discusses and proposes solutions to issues of importance to Gavilan View Middle School. The School Site Council annually reviews and approves the school site plan.  Meeting periodically throughout the year the School Site Council can makes recommendations and/or request modifications to the budget and the school-site plan that reflect the changing needs and priority of the school.

ENGLISH LEARNER ADVISORY COMMITTEE (ELAC)

The Gavilan View Middle School English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is a forum for teachers, administrators, students and parents and community members. Members of the ELAC review the academic program at Gavilan View, as well as the social and academic experience of our students who are learning English. The ELAC makes recommendations to school site administration and faculty in order to better serve out students who are learning English.
