Gavilan View Middle School is one of two middle schools serving 6th through 8th graders in the Santa Rita Union School District.

GVMS is located in Salinas, California and first opened its doors to local students in 1981.  

The school's mascot is the Hawk. 

At the start of this school year, our Santa Rita Union School District Board of Trustees developed and approved a Strategic Action with the following Core Values:
