weather forecast
Weather - Heat Advisory
The weather forecast for this week is projecting really warm days. We are expected to be in the upper 80s and low 90s this week. Here are a few reminders:

Hydration: Please make sure students bring water bottles and remind them to drink water frequently throughout the day. GVMS does have hydration stations available.
Appropriate Clothing: Remind students to dress in lightweight, light-colored, and breathable clothing. Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen can help protect students from the sun when outdoors.
Limit Outdoor Activity: We may move PE and break/lunch indoors if temperatures become too high. This keeps students safe from heat exhaustion or heatstroke.
Transportation: Please make sure that students are being picked up promptly after school.
Heat-Related Symptoms: Help us educate students on signs of heat exhaustion, such as dizziness, fatigue, or nausea, and inform them that we will be monitoring students for any symptoms throughout the day.
