ELPAC Family Night
This is for all families who have students who are in our English Learner program. The meeting will be at 4:30pm at the Family Resource Center at Santa Rita Elementary School. We hope that by having it at Santa Rita Elementary, more of you can join us.

This meeting is very important because we are going to go over all the important information about the test that the students are beginning to take this month. We want to share ways that you can help your students at home to help your child grow with their English skills.

Hawk of the Week
dibble
Mr. Chris Dibble
This week, we are proud to recognize Mr. Chris Dibble, one of our dedicated 7th grade Math teachers, as Hawk of the Week! Mr. Dibble’s commitment to student success goes far beyond the classroom, making a lasting impact on both his students and the school community.

Described by his peers as someone who goes above and beyond for new, current, and past students, Mr. Dibble consistently provides extra support to ensure their success. He arrives early every morning to offer help and spends his lunch periods giving students opportunities to review math concepts, complete assignments, and re-take quizzes. His dedication to student learning is truly inspiring.

Beyond academics, Mr. Dibble also volunteers his time to provide supervision after school at the park near Santa Rita Elementary, demonstrating his care and commitment to student safety and well-being.

Thank you, Mr. Dibble, for your generosity, dedication, and unwavering support—you make a difference every day!
February is...
BHM
Black History Month
As we begin this new week, we also begin a very important month—Black History Month.

Each February, we take time to honor the achievements, history, and contributions of Black Americans who have helped shape our country. This month is about learning, reflecting, and celebrating the resilience, creativity, and leadership that have made a lasting impact on our world.

Black history is American history, and throughout this month, we encourage you to take the opportunity to learn something new—whether it’s about a scientist, artist, activist, or leader who has made a difference. Our school will be sharing stories, facts, and activities to highlight these contributions, so stay tuned!

Let’s all take part in recognizing and celebrating the powerful legacy of Black history, not just this month, but every day.
