Dear Families,

Thank you to the families who joined us for the Safety Committee meeting and the Parent Walking Group this past week. Your engagement is vital to our school community!

We have only two weeks left in the quarter before Winter Break begins! This is a critical time for students to wrap up strong. Please ensure you are regularly checking your student's grades and assignments and encouraging them to take full advantage of all the tutoring and resources our staff is offering. Every assignment counts!

Finally, please mark your calendars for two important events:

  • Winter Concert: This Tuesday night at 6:30pm.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Warmly,

Hawk of the Week

Stellar Staff Member

Hinojosa

Johnathon Hinojosa

This week, we are thrilled to recognize Johnathon Hinojosa, nominated by his peers for his outstanding contributions, particularly as a Basketball Coach!

Coach Hinojosa has been instrumental in preparing our Boys Basketball teams for the season. Over the past few weeks, he successfully launched a donation-based fundraiser that has raised a truly significant amount—close to $6,000—to benefit the entire Basketball program. This impressive effort will provide vital resources for our student-athletes.

This past week, his dedication was on full display as he coached the 8th Grade Boys team through the Palma School Tournament. The team showcased remarkable growth and skill, culminating in an exciting win on Friday!

Beyond the court, Johnathon serves our campus as the Health & Safety Supervisor. He does an amazing job overseeing safety procedures, providing thoughtful supervision, and consistently following up with students to encourage positive behavior and foster a positive learning environment for everyone.

Thank you, Johnathon, for being a dedicated coach and a committed leader on our campus!
